This exceptional Grade 1 coffee comes from Mr. Bekele Gemeda's farm in the Worka village of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Part of the Single Farmer Project, this lot showcases coffee from a dedicated producer within the Halo Beriti cooperative. Mr. Bekele cultivates coffee on his 6.5-hectare farm at elevations between 1,900-2,100 meters, producing a distinctive cup with notes of orange marmalade, peach, apricot, and floral undertones.
Grown at high altitude in the cool microclimate of Yirgacheffe, this washed coffee undergoes careful fermentation and processing to develop its elegant, fruit-forward character with a clean, sweet cup profile.
The Cup: Intense jammy peach with fresh peach and mellow caramel flavours. Juicy malic acidity and clean fruit-like sweetness.
